Implementation

Live in one term, not one strategic plan

Placement platforms have a reputation for long, painful implementations. Ours is deliberately staged: prove it on one program in one term, then expand at the pace your team can absorb.

The path

  1. Map programs, data & terminology Guided

We sit down with your coordinators and map how your placements actually run — programs, placement types, requirement sets, capacity, approval chains and the words your institution uses for all of it. Your terminology, not ours.

  2. Import students, sites & history Tooled

Students, partner sites, agreements, clearance records and historical placements are migrated with our own tooling. You get a reconciliation report so you can verify every record before anyone relies on it.

  3. Parallel-run one program, one term Low risk

One program runs a full placement cycle in Engageable alongside your existing process. If it does not hold up, you have lost nothing. In practice this is where placement teams stop wanting to go back.

  4. Expand program by program Supported

Each additional program is configured from the pattern already proven, with training for its coordinators. You control the sequence and the pace.

Migrating from another system

Most institutions arriving at Engageable are already running something — a legacy placement platform, an enterprise system inherited from an overseas vendor, or a long-serving set of spreadsheets and Access databases. All three are migrations we have done.

What we bring to it is mapping tooling and the sector knowledge to know what your data means: which fields matter, which historical records need to survive for accreditation, and which local conventions have to be preserved rather than normalised away.
